Our first day on Ventotene was a tale of two projects. One team went out on the ISIS to work continue the side scan sonar survey to the NW of the island. Four long survey lines were completed before the ISIS headed back into harbour to refuel and prepared for the next day’s work. Another team remained on the Fortaleza to install the new lights on our ROV. Eric designed and built a bracket together with various crew members and directors. This should be ready for trials in the coming days and will be deployed on the wrecks for the making of the documentary. In the evening, our partners from Windfall called to the boat for a meeting to discuss strategies for the prepartion and filming related to the documentary. It’s going to be a very exciting few days.
