When one sarts a survey of a large area the task ahead alwayd looks daunting. Each line measures approximately 4.5 nautical miles (or 8.3 km) and the first few of these seem to go on for ever. We have now moved into the phase whereby most of the lines have been run and the end is in sight.
We detected more interesting anamalies and are evaluating which targets to return to with the high frequency sonar so as to acquire high resolution sonar images. A local film crew joined us on the ISIS so as to film our operations off Capri. After setting off with us from Stabia they later transferred onto a dinghy from which they continued shooting. We hope to post a couple of their videos in the coming days.
