Fuel topped up, supplies on vboard and crew all ready to go. This is being written as the final farewells are being said on the quayside. Finally, a small weather window permits us to cross the Sicily channel and onto the Messina Straits. From there we proceed to Stabia which will be our base for the first project of the season (more on this later).

We will be travelling at sea for a total of 36 hours with inermittent web connections so kindly be patient and log in this coming Saturday when we will upload pictures and tales of the crossing. We plan to start work on the first Sunday….no rest for the wicked.
